Summary

The study draws on a 10-year panel data (2008-2018) from the better work Jordan programs and uses a Difference-in -Difference approach to estimate the effects on compliance with national and international labour law of the a transparency programme that made compliance assessments publicly available. Findings show that compliance increased in a group of compliance areas related to relation to workers’ rights.
