Summary
This report looks at the opportunities for cooperation between different standards in the metals, mineral and mining sector to enhance their impact. The report researched the different theory of change of the standards to identify opportunities for interoperability. Furthermore a literature review, interviews, surveys and four workshops were conducted. The report finds that for interoperability to work timing is very important, also having clear formalized objectives and understanding what happens at the field level is key. The process is also time and resource intensive.
