Summary
This report evaluates the impact of the following five International Cooperative Initiatives on biodiversity and conservation: Citizens' initiatives, Community forest management, landscape and forest restoration, Re-naturing cities and Voluntary Sustainability Standards. A secondary analysis using data from literature was conducted, however, the data available seemed to be a limiting factor. Additionally the report also used a qualitative biodiversity indicator. Results show that five International Cooperative Initiatives on Biodiversity have a relevant influence on biodiversity and conservation and the sustainable use of forests.
