Summary

This is an empirical study that researchers the difference that Fairtrade certification makes to four leading flower export firms in Ecuador. It studies the environmental and social changes from certification to use of agrochemicals, worker safety and quality of life and the extent to which Fairtrade certification aligns with national laws.
